Independent Funeral Director in the Southern Highlands

Narelle has been conducting ceremonies since 2008 and involved in the funeral industry since 2013. She loves doing ceremonies but found funerals so gratifying and a sense of peace being able to offer support and assistance to families in mourning.

She is open, sincere and  compassionate and has learned that being thorough with details will ensure families have peace of mind that everything will go to plan.

Her first funeral was for a dear relative and she found and was able to offer peace and support to those closest to her. Since then she has had the privilege of organising and delivering the farewell to many

Narelle has been a local within the Highlands for nearly 2 years, prior to that she lived and worked within the wedding and funeral industry on the South Coast, servicing Sydney, the Illawarra, the Shoalhaven, Far South Coast, Southern Highlands and Goulburn.

Ben specialises in a holistic approach and continuum of care throughout the end of life and after death experience.

In his role as an End of Life Doula he is able to provide non-medical guidance and support, assist with the completion of legal and medical documentation, advocacy for the dying person as well as empowering family and community in the care and needs of their person, including their after death care.

He understands that acknowledging end of life can come in many forms and works alongside communities with complete flexibility and transparency in order to provide the care and attention they need at every stage of this vulnerable process.

As a celebrant, Ben is able to assist families and communities to craft a ceremony that most suitably depicts and honours their person, delivering it in the style that feels comfortable to them. 
 
Ben believes the more involvement people have in a funerals creation, the deeper will be the connection to the ceremony itself and an authentic depiction of the person who has died. 
 
Ben regards his role as a privilege and works to ensure every detail is undertaken as per the families wishes. 

Scott has been in the funeral industry since 2012 and has been involved in funerals as a Funeral Celebrant, Funeral Director, Hearse driver and Funeral Assistant.

Scott combines his honest, genuine and compassionate approach with his meticulous organisation skills to ensure families have peace of mind that everything will go to plan.

He is a practicable person who is passionate about organising events that are dignified, beautiful, genuine and special to honour and celebrate each unique life.

He has created Sydney Funerals, Gold Coast Funerals, Over The Rainbow Funerals  to help families have a beautiful, affordable funeral for their loved one by being open, transparent and providing choices. He does this by gently taking control and guiding families through the process with care and compassion.

Angus comes to us with a background and a love for cars.  So it is only fitting that he drives our Hearse vehicles. 

Angus also assists on most funerals to ensure the day goes perfectly from a logistics point of view.  He also is our AV tech guy, so to ensure that all the audio and visuals work on the day, and liaises with the venue, the livestream teams, and the Funeral Director on the day.
